Three new Expeditions every week, each bringing home a Lanternling, and album rewards for every milestone in your collection.
What's new
Every week there are three Expeditions, the same for everyone. Each one needs a particular mix of Lanternlings: perhaps a rare from Tidepool and two from Emberhearth. So the more kinds you've found, the more adventures you can go on. The team sets off for a few hours, then comes home with lantern light and a Lanternling from the place they explored, often one you haven't found yet.
Your collection has album rewards now too. At 5, 10, 15, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 and all 72 Lanternlings found, you can collect some lantern light and unlock something to decorate with: leafy, tidepool, starlight and golden card frames, new binder covers, and four new hats for your Lantern Buddy, including the Scholar's cap, the Star crown, the Rainbow crown and an Explorer's hat for seasoned Expedition leaders.
How it works
- Find Expeditions on the Play page under Adventures. Tap Choose a team, pick a Lanternling for each place, and set off.
- Lanternlings on an Expedition can't go on walks or be swapped until they're home.
- Album rewards are at the top of your collection. Tap Binder style to change your cover and card frame.
- Nothing can be bought: every reward is earned by playing.
